The Watts W-PQ21X Air Vent Valve is designed to use for discharging excess gas in the pipeline, ensuring the safety of the pipeline. It’s generally used in heating system, etc.

Operating Principles:
In the status of exhaust, the floater pulls down one end of the lever because of the gravity, at this moment, the lever is in the tilt state, gap appears between the lever and gas vent, and air exhausts through the vent in the gap. With the air discharge, water level rises, the floater floats up under the effect of the buoyancy of water, the seal face on the lever presses the vent. Until the vent is completely blocked, air vent valve is completely in a closed state.
